Irish Cream

I was a bit of a skeptic before trying Irish Cream from scratch. When I started looking at recipes I found that almost all of them have the same basic ingredients with slight variations. I looked at a bunch and adjusted as I went…. the result was really good. A bit boozy , but this is an easily adaptable recipe. I made ice cubes out of leftover unsweetened espresso for some interest. Whether you like it over ice, or in your coffee, it might be even better than the store bought stuff and way less expensive. Keeps about 1 month in the fridge. Cheers!

1 cup Irish whiskey

1 1/2 cups half and half

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 tbsp chocolate syrup

2 tbsp instant coffee

1 tbsp vanilla

Add all ingredients to a regular blender for about a minute. Pour into a bottle and keep refrigerated.
